Flight Plans

  Hello Parents and presidents of the missionaries of the Mission Salta Argentina, Included is some information concerning the return flights of your children.     ·            We have arranged 2 charters to take the remaining North American missionaries to the United States on Saturday morning, April 4, at 8:00 and 10:00 am.  The flights are scheduled to arrive in Salt Lake City on Saturday evening at 5:10 pm and 7:10 pm, respectively.  ·            More detailed itineraries will be sent as soon as they are available, including those who have connecting flights out of Salt Lake.  However, given that flights can be delayed, it is possible that connecting flight itineraries will not be sent until we know the flights have left and have not impacted connections.  If connecting flights are not available until Sunday, April 5, your missionary will spend the night in a local hotel for the night. ·            There are a great deal of variables that will go into successfully moving approximat

Mision Argentina Salta

  Salta, Sunday March 29, 2020 Dear Families of the Argentine Mission Salta: We share with you some news about what is happening with the missionaries here. Many already know that Argentina is now in a period of national quarantine, which forces people not to leave their homes until Tuesday, March 31. The Argentine government is considering extending the quarantine for a while longer but we have no official news in this regard. All missionaries are in good health and spirits. They have enough food and in many areas members bring them lunch. Others are learning to cook so simple recipes are welcome. Most of them have access to the church computer to communicate with their families, Monday and Thursday. We have also sent their cell phone numbers so that you can call them through an international call to communicate with them throughout the week if needed. We know that for some families it is difficult to communicate since cell phones do not work properly here. We hope that missionaries c
