I'm Dreaming of a White...Halloween?
¡Hola Familia y Amigos! Yesterday's low was 19 degrees so that meant waking up to snow!...and a lot more than I expected for the first one this season. It's been about 18 months since I've seen snow/had a winter so I'm not quite sure how I'll survive the next 5 months haha Hermana Shumway goes home in 3 weeks! Crazy to think we are already halfway through the transfer. Time is flying. This week we had zone conference and it was probably my favorite one yet. The Spirit was so strong. This week I was studying in Jacob and came across a verse that really caught my attention. It says, "...trusting in the God and the rock of their salvation; wherefore, they became as yet, conquerors of their enemies." I love that! They became conquerors of their enemies by trusting in God! By letting God prevail! It made me think of our prophet's most recent message from this last general conference when he said, " The Lord is gathering those who are willing to let
