Happy 4th of July!!! Seriously one of my FAVORITE holidays! So grateful for this country and the freedoms we have here! 

You GUYS!!! I talked to Ariel from ARGENTINA this week! It was the BEST and I miss him (and everyone else I met there) a TON! He had the BEST questions!!! So happy he's still reading his Book of Mormon. I just about sobbed through the whole cita. Basically I've decided if I have the opportunity to finish my mission in Argentina, I'm doing it. Not quite sure if that's a possibility for me but an hermana can dream. 

Also, hit my 10 month mark! Whoop whoop! 

Currently opening up a new area with my new companion Hermana Shields! She's so cute and so nice and just radiates positivity. We're only going to be together for 8 more days which is weird but I feel like I've learned a lot from her and am grateful we get to be companions, even if it's just for 2 weeks. We've been trying to get in contact with all of the members and leaders in the ward, which is harder than it sounds. We live with my last two companions in Kearns which is sort of odd since that's not the area or ward we cover. 

This morning we did a hike with our zone which was fun. We did the Living Room hike up on the U of U campus. Not the prettiest hike but the view from the top is really cool. I will do anything to get outside these days.

HUGE shoutout to Lindsey and Nathan and Dave AND Grandma Gogo and Grandpa Steve. I love being so close to home ;) best surprise ever hahaha

Really not too much has happened this week. Just being a missionary. Finished the Book of Mormon for the third time since starting my mission so now we're on to #4! My testimony of the Book of Mormon has grown so much and I love it! You should read it.

¡Hola Amigos y Familia! If you know you know. This week went by reallllllyyyyy slow not going to lie. Patience is a virtue....I lack. I'm working on it.  Last week after p-day I had "divisiones" with a Hermana Cappa! There are two Hermana Cappas and they're over the whole Santiago Centro Zone. Hermana V. and I said goodbye for 24 hours to go on splits with the Hermana Cappas. Tender mercy, I was assigned to a gringa! She's actually going home this week so that kind of stunk (#trunky) BUT she was able to answer a lot (and I had a LOT) of questions. We went and did something called a "Tormenta Blanca" which basically means a group of elders and hermanas go to an area and help out the elders or hermanas assigned to that area. We went to an area in my zone called "Frias" which was a 3 hour bus ride away. SO, we woke up at 3:30am to catch the bus and started working right after we stepped off. "Why Are They All White?"

¡Hola Familia y Amigos! So we had a cita with Exequiel this week to teach him more about prophets, temples, etc. All that good stuff. I pulled out a picture of all the general authorities and Exequiel sat there for a sec before saying, "Why are they all white?" It was pretty funny not going to lie. There's a solid amount of general authorities from South America but they all look white so we tried to explain that.  This week was kind of an odd week. Everyday was super overcast and rainy and Hermana Horton and I just kinda felt weird. At least 3 times once a day we'd look at each other and say something like, "Why is today so weird?" I think we were letting the weather get to us because we actually had a VERY productive week. The Sister Training Leaders came over yesterday to verify our weekly planning and they said they've never seen a companionship work so effectively.
