Transfers!

 ¡Hola Familia y Amigos! 


I am being transferred! My last area will be the Rio Vista Spanish YSA ward! I'm super excited! In the YSA wards we get to use instagram and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that hahaha

Trying to think about all the good things that have happened this week. It's all kind of a blur and I have a feeling that's exactly how these next 6 weeks will go. I feel like I just started my training in Argentina....yesterday. But Lighthouse has been such a great experience. I have learned and grown so much. The members and youth are amazing and I will miss cute Judith and her daughters. 

I think more than anything, I'm just grateful. Grateful for my companions, my experiences in both Argentina and Utah, the Book of Mormon, and the gentle reminders that God is aware of each one of us. These last 16 months I have been so blessed! And it's not even over yet :) I'm excited to see what's in store for me this next transfer!

Alma 29:9 - "I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath command me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy."

Along with Alma, my mission is MY JOY!

¡Hola Amigos y Familia! If you know you know. This week went by reallllllyyyyy slow not going to lie. Patience is a virtue....I lack. I'm working on it.  Last week after p-day I had "divisiones" with a Hermana Cappa! There are two Hermana Cappas and they're over the whole Santiago Centro Zone. Hermana V. and I said goodbye for 24 hours to go on splits with the Hermana Cappas. Tender mercy, I was assigned to a gringa! She's actually going home this week so that kind of stunk (#trunky) BUT she was able to answer a lot (and I had a LOT) of questions. We went and did something called a "Tormenta Blanca" which basically means a group of elders and hermanas go to an area and help out the elders or hermanas assigned to that area. We went to an area in my zone called "Frias" which was a 3 hour bus ride away. SO, we woke up at 3:30am to catch the bus and started working right after we stepped off. "Why Are They All White?"

¡Hola Familia y Amigos! So we had a cita with Exequiel this week to teach him more about prophets, temples, etc. All that good stuff. I pulled out a picture of all the general authorities and Exequiel sat there for a sec before saying, "Why are they all white?" It was pretty funny not going to lie. There's a solid amount of general authorities from South America but they all look white so we tried to explain that.  This week was kind of an odd week. Everyday was super overcast and rainy and Hermana Horton and I just kinda felt weird. At least 3 times once a day we'd look at each other and say something like, "Why is today so weird?" I think we were letting the weather get to us because we actually had a VERY productive week.
