24 Crumbl Cookies and Faith in the Lord

 ¡Hola Familia y Amigos!

Another week down, a lot more to go!

This week was good, missionary work is good, even if COVID has yet to to away. That's how you know it's the work of the Lord :) I was sitting in a meeting a few weeks ago when an elder shared how awesome it is missionary work was made to adapt. I had never thought about it that way. The world is changing, and while the gospel and doctrine of Jesus Christ never will, the way we as missionaries adapt to needs of those we teach sure will.

Also, I'm training a new hermana! "Training" probably isn't the right word but she's new to the mission and I'm excited to be able to...learn with her haha. Wish I knew more and/or had more time in the SLCW mission but this is when I hand it over to the Lord I guess. Transfers happen tomorrow so we'll see how this next week goes for the Oquirrh Point 5B hermanas! Keep us in your prayers porfa!

Shoutout to mom and dad for not just one party box from CRUMBL, but two!!! Tender mercies from the Lord may or may not include the CRUMBL website glitching and doubling your order on accident. Thursday night was a happy one for the 4 hermanas in my apartment. Also the elders in my zone. All of the sudden they have a lot more "mail" to drop off at our apartment.......🤔 #charity

Talked to Ariel, OTRA VEZ! Hermana Shields and I have really bonded with a girl named Juliette. She's the daughter of the hermana from Argentina and is the funniest girl ever. She's so awesome. We're focusing a lot on the members, and a couple of them have really opened up. COVID hit our area hard, and a lot of the members just need support. Ministering was truly inspired.

Our stake has decided to participate in a 40 Day Fast for missionary opportunities. I think the idea is awesome and hope the families we ask to participate will be able to have some spiritual experiences and missionary opportunities! Each ward in the stake gets a week and so our ward won't participate until the end of this next transfer, but I'm hyped.

Did lots of service this week! Honestly, with the amount of yardwork I've done I should consider going into landscaping. Most of it is just weeding or laying mulch but this week I was handed a chainsaw and asked to trim a hedge. I have never felt so self conscious in my life. Love Latinos, but after I finished trimming the hedge I turned around to look at the hermano and both of our faces said something like, "we both know you could have done that better I did." I'll probably just stick to weeding from now on. But now whenever Familia P stares outside their back window and sees the lop-sided bush, they'll think of the missionaries. Heck, they've probably already fixed it.

Saying goodbye to Hermana Shields! Sad to see her go. She is seriously so awesome and has made me laugh SO hard these past two weeks. It's the best having a companion everyone wants to be around because I get to tag along ;)

There's more but I've forgotten. Read the Restoration Proclamation this week. We have been trying to share that with a lot of people and it has been SO COOL!!! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Love you guys! Thanks for the prayers and support! Email me!

Love love loveeeeee,
