Mannnnnn I miss those. Pray for me. 

This email will be short because I'm trying to type mega emails and make mega calls. But I love you all. 

Shoutout to everyone who sent me a conference talk. I loved them and have a few left to read. 

Also found out the word hermana doesn't have an ñ so a huge thanks to everyone on this list who speaks fluent spanish and let me sign my last 3 emails as Hermaña McKinlay. 

Here is a quote I love: "For of all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these: it might have been!" Also another quote I love that sort of relates: "Full send." Ya really living that right now haha.

Here's a cool story: So I don't know exact details but I guess the FBI went to the Provo MTC to try and figure out how so many young missionaries were learning so many different languages so fast. They couldn't figure it out. Lol.

Didn't wake up to my alarm the other day but I did wake up to Hermana Steed yelling, "Hermana are you DEAD?!" So I've officially reached the point of sleeping through my alarm. Glad I made it 4 weeks in at least. 

Here's a cool quote from one of my favorite conference talks by Dieter F. Uchtdorf titled "Of Regrets and Resolutions": "One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes."

Also Shayne M. Bowen from the Seventy came and spoke to us this week. Super cool guy. His wife was way cute too. 


Got super bored during a devotional so I wrote a list of 21 things I am thankful for.

I know the gospel is true! I love it! I'm so thankful for all your letters and emails of support. There's a lot more I want to throw in this but I'm spacey right now and can't even think through this week. 

Everyone go listen to Hold Me Now by the Thompson Twins because I want to be listening to it right now but instead I'm listening to The Lord Is My Light by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (Oct. 2019 GC) hahahahahaha 17 more months folks.

¡Hola Amigos y Familia! If you know you know. This week went by reallllllyyyyy slow not going to lie. Patience is a virtue....I lack. I'm working on it.  Last week after p-day I had "divisiones" with a Hermana Cappa! There are two Hermana Cappas and they're over the whole Santiago Centro Zone. Hermana V. and I said goodbye for 24 hours to go on splits with the Hermana Cappas. Tender mercy, I was assigned to a gringa! She's actually going home this week so that kind of stunk (#trunky) BUT she was able to answer a lot (and I had a LOT) of questions. We went and did something called a "Tormenta Blanca" which basically means a group of elders and hermanas go to an area and help out the elders or hermanas assigned to that area. We went to an area in my zone called "Frias" which was a 3 hour bus ride away. SO, we woke up at 3:30am to catch the bus and started working right after we stepped off. "Why Are They All White?"

¡Hola Familia y Amigos! So we had a cita with Exequiel this week to teach him more about prophets, temples, etc. All that good stuff. I pulled out a picture of all the general authorities and Exequiel sat there for a sec before saying, "Why are they all white?" It was pretty funny not going to lie. There's a solid amount of general authorities from South America but they all look white so we tried to explain that.  This week was kind of an odd week. Everyday was super overcast and rainy and Hermana Horton and I just kinda felt weird. At least 3 times once a day we'd look at each other and say something like, "Why is today so weird?" I think we were letting the weather get to us because we actually had a VERY productive week. The Sister Training Leaders came over yesterday to verify our weekly planning and they said they've never seen a companionship work so effectively.
