Shoutout to the people who still read these. Grandma and granpa i love you!

This week the Spanish elders in Orem dropped off a Book of Mormon to Armando. I am so so so sad we have to hand him off but I know the Spirit will carry the message and Armando will be touched! He already has been. I've seen him change. When we called him this week he was sitting in the park, reading his Book of Mormon. He even had written his name in the front page. Hermana McKin cried happy happy tears. I told him I'd find him after the mission and he said ok. My heart is slowly healing. 

We called Fernando a few days ago for our English class and before we could get into our lesson he said, "Remember how you taught me to pray? I've been doing it every night." I felt so dumb because I had completely spaced and forgotten we taught him how to pray! He said he's felt closer to God since he started and wants to eventually teach his son when he "knows how to pray better." I told him he should start teaching his son now and that God would listen. He's not waiting for a professional prayer.

Hermana Goold is great. Hermana Skinner is still great. We laugh too hard sometimes. Earlier this week we told Hermana Goold how we have been running throughout the week and told her a ton of things like, "let us know if you need a break" or "we can totally walk if you want!" Etc. Well, the turn tabled and halfway through our first run as a trio Hermana Skinner told us she thought she was going to faint and my shin splints had me wanting to fall over and die. It was so funny because Hermana Goold was HAULING in front of us so she probably thought we were total wimps for only making it a mile in. If anyone has shin splint tips or tricks...........hmu porfa. It feels like Satan is stabbing me.

¡Hola Amigos y Familia! If you know you know. This week went by reallllllyyyyy slow not going to lie. Patience is a virtue....I lack. I'm working on it.  Last week after p-day I had "divisiones" with a Hermana Cappa! There are two Hermana Cappas and they're over the whole Santiago Centro Zone. Hermana V. and I said goodbye for 24 hours to go on splits with the Hermana Cappas. Tender mercy, I was assigned to a gringa! She's actually going home this week so that kind of stunk (#trunky) BUT she was able to answer a lot (and I had a LOT) of questions. We went and did something called a "Tormenta Blanca" which basically means a group of elders and hermanas go to an area and help out the elders or hermanas assigned to that area. We went to an area in my zone called "Frias" which was a 3 hour bus ride away. SO, we woke up at 3:30am to catch the bus and started working right after we stepped off. "Why Are They All White?"

¡Hola Familia y Amigos! So we had a cita with Exequiel this week to teach him more about prophets, temples, etc. All that good stuff. I pulled out a picture of all the general authorities and Exequiel sat there for a sec before saying, "Why are they all white?" It was pretty funny not going to lie. There's a solid amount of general authorities from South America but they all look white so we tried to explain that.  This week was kind of an odd week. Everyday was super overcast and rainy and Hermana Horton and I just kinda felt weird. At least 3 times once a day we'd look at each other and say something like, "Why is today so weird?" I think we were letting the weather get to us because we actually had a VERY productive week. The Sister Training Leaders came over yesterday to verify our weekly planning and they said they've never seen a companionship work so effectively.
